Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Germantown Gaithersburg

Stayed on business. Stable wifi. Shared parking lots with 4 restaurants and Top Golf. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. All toiletries were supplied. Nice little gym and crystal clear pool; surprisingly no strong chlorine smell. Delicious HOT breakfast!! Nice dining area and business center. Being there on business I appreciate the convenience of the power plug on the desk lamp. Well light area and comfortable desk chair.

The hotel is a little hard to find but it’s quite worth it when you do. Front desk was very helpful. Hotel is beautiful, more like a Marriott than a Fairfield. Beautifully appointed rooms and big TV’s. The lobby and breakfast areas are so nice and comfortable. Overall a great stay!

My son had a booking for the holidays and went up to his room to see luggage all over. The Receptionist had handed him the keys but in this day and age, something horrible could have happened. It was a disaster waiting to happen. How is the front office so careless? People have guns and cannot be blamed if they feel threatened that someone is trying to enter their room. Please make sure that you do a better job next time.

24SEPT.2025 Wonderful first time visit. The Fairfield by MI&S is tucked away in Germantown/Gaithersburg border, surrounded by a host of restaurants and a TopGolf golfing range and movie theater. The check-in desk representative was so naturally cheery and welcoming. The hotel foyer is super clean and well kept. The elevators are clean as are the hallway to the rooms. The rooms smell good and such ample space. The bathroom is spacious as well. A great stay and quiet even if it is right off of I-270. Mini fridge, microwave, and nice sitting area with a flat screen tv. A tv in the bedroom area.

Short and sweet review... Great location. Great service. Room and property were very clean. Housekeeping staff was fantastic. Breakfast was what you'd expect at a hotel in this price range--nothing fancy but good enough to grab a bagel, coffee, and a piece of fruit on the way out in the morning. Very close to many restaurants, Wegmans grocery store, Safeway, etc.. There is some construction going on next door but you can't hear it from inside the hotel. Also... free parking!
