Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Shenandoah Views

My family and I have been with Spacious Skies Shenandoah for some time now and I would like to say the staff here is quite phenomenal. This winter has been pretty gnarly. My shoutout, today, goes to Andrew, the site manager. He always, goes above and beyond, to make sure we have the comforts needed to deal with crazy hot and stupid cold weather. Our power went out yesterday evening and he took the time and effort to come out twice to help. The best site manager, ever! Thank you Andrew, for all you do. You are amazing!

Day 19-21 Sep 23-26 Spacious Skies Luray VA, Shenandoah Valley. Site 49, $75 ($244 total), water, electricity n sewer. |Beautiful location about 2 mi outside of Luray- up on a hill overlooking the mountains. We had a back in site right along the fence w a pasture full of cows. They walked right by our site and we could hear the mooing. So fun! Beautiful pool, nice playground, really nice shower house, plenty of space - absolutely no complaints. We did the Skyline drive from the Luray entrance south in Shenandoah Ntl Park. Highly recommend getting the narrated talk as you drive. Stunning scenery even in a cloudy day. Took us the whole day w lots of stops- lunch and dinner. Great campsite! RV spot was clean and had a great view. Camp host was awesome and the front office was inviting. The dog park is the absolute best we have ever had at a campground! Enough room to play with our dogs, water and bowl provided. Overall one of the best put together and ran campgrounds we have been to in years! Highly recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at Spacious Skies Campgrounds! The sites were clean, roomy, and easy to access—even for larger rigs. The grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of open space to relax and enjoy nature. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and family-friendly vibe. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a longer trip, this is a great spot to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. Highly recommend!

This was our first time here and first time staying in a yurt. We stayed in the king bed yurt and it was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable despite the cold night temperatures. Great water pressure & it’s stayed hot. The bed & pillows were very comfortable The campground and accommodations are very clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly & accommodating. Very convenient location. The cows & sheep were fun too! We will definitely do this again!
