Southernmost Beach Resort & Guesthouses

We were there last March. Going back again. My husband and I will never EVER stay anywhere else. From the moment we checked in, everyone was nicer than the next person. The girl who checked us in, who was very pregnant at the time, upgraded us to a partial ocean front view. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The room was excellent. I loved that we walked right outside our door and sat right by the ocean. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was in walking distance. Very convenient to all that Duval street has to offer. The staff was exceptional. The pool and bar were great. Looking forward to coming back.

After our honeymoon to St Lucia unexpectedly had to be cancelled, we made a quick pivot and booked a week long stay at Southernmost Beach Resort. From the moment we checked-in, we knew this was a blessing in disguise in comparison to our original travel plans. Annette was amazing and worked with us to ensure that our time here was memorable and exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were lovely, with incredible views. The staff at the pool bars were excellent and the food and drinks were delicious! — maybe the best fish tacos on the island. We loved the walkability of the resort - no need to rent a car. Annette and SOMO have definitely earned themselves a returning customer and we cannot wait to be back!

Positive: "" Negative: Resort was really a motel with rooms located outside. Very noisy and loud. I never would have booked a motel. Resort fees were outrageous at $--- a night.When I asked what was included at the front desk they said you are paying twice.

We spent a long weekend here for a 50th birthday party. Very age appropriate resort. Great location, lots to walk to. Accommodations felt like a Marriott courtyard plus bars and light blue/white paint.|$75 daily resort fee (inc tax) for what? Music by the pool. No fitness classes or ordering from lounge chairs. We had fun at happy hour Bingo at Avalon guest house at hotel. Kristi and Amy are amazing activity directors - so much fun. Our “deluxe king” room which I thought was garden view had a wall a/c that sounded like a jet engine and we faced the hotel driveway/entrance. Poor water pressure. We were also across from the housekeeping closet which was noisy with workers. The roosters woke us early every morning! . “Pool view” can mean parking lot view so no need to get that. Be in the know
