South Haven RV Park

We had to make a last-minute change in plans due to high wind gusts and towing our RV. Glenna was very kind and accommodating and gave us safe haven. Plenty of room in our pull-through spot, level, safe and quiet. We stayed through the dust storm and were on our way the next morning. I’m bookmarking this place and will return. Very fair pricing as well.

What can you say when the LORD leads you to a place where the owner welcomes you like family but doesn't even know you! It was after hours and we were very tired from driving 8 hours. We got the phone number off the Google listing and left a message. We got a call right back from Glenna who said to pick out a spot without a cone and call back when we were all set up that she wanted to make this very easy for us. When we had selected a spot and were ready to give our credit card, Glenna asked if my husband was a Veteran. When she found out my husband had served, she gave us our night as a gift for his service. What a Blessing! Thank you and GOD Bless.

Good overnight stop. Right off hwy but not too loud. Did not use facilities. Many full timers however all rigs were neat and no junk around. Only disappointment was the number of loose dogs just roaming around and their waste not picked up Would stay there again

The owner is super nice and accommodating! It is a clean rv park with levels sites and easy on and off the highway. We stop here regularly on our road trips from Colorado to the Gulf.

I’ve stayed at this campsite two different times in the last 5 months. The grounds keeper is absolutely amazing, he is so funny and kind. The rv lots are a decent size, definitely smaller. There are a lot of cacti around the campsites as well as thorns on the ground. There is a man here who refuses to keep his dog on a leash and it has come after me and my dogs two different times. It roams all over the campsite which is one of the only reasons I give it a 4 star review. The prices are great and it’s not too noisy. There are a lot of full timers here. Glenda is a dear to deal with and she is so nice as well. I would definitely come back here again if I ever am around the area. It’s one of the only campsites that aren’t full all the time near Big Springs. They do have a laundry room as well
