Sonesta Simply Suites Boston Braintree

This place is as advertised. Nothing fancy but everything essential. There is no nightly housekeeping because this is an extended stay. The point of this place is to provide a room you can call your own for a time being. There are kitchenettes and dishwashers so cleaning and bed making is up to you.

Positive: The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. The hotel is only 2.5 stars so expectations aren't high. But all the staff is nice and although the rooms are old, they're clean all things considered. Negative: It's just an old hotel. Some floors smell (the carpets), the laundry amenity didn't work the entire stay I was there and it'll stayed 17 days. Also there isn't anything within walking distance.

I should have listened to the previous reviews and not stayed at this hotel. I checked in, went to my room. It was disgustingly dirty. Bathroom, floors, top of refrigerator, shelves, all dirty. There was a strange bottle that looked like something you put maple syrup in left in the shower. I was moved to a new room, that was better, but not clean to standards you would expect. Unfortunately, I prepaid and can’t get my money back. Do not stay at this hotel.

Terrible terrible stay. Someone was stressing in that room prior or staff. There was hair everywhere and I know it wasn't mine as I am Bald. Dust in the bathroom .hair on the bed , shower , towels , sink , freezer . The coffee pot was dirty too. No thanks on the coffee. Fire alarm went off in the morning and told to evacuate . But tmit was a false alarm. I signed up for rewards upon check in and I feel there should be enough points on my account for a free stay at another property. No shower gel too

They've done their best to be accommodating I've stayed there several times and will book back. The rooms are spacious and clean. This type of hotel tends to be understaffed, although the staff that is there does their best to help out. Just understand you're getting a more independent experience rather than a doting concierge
