Do not rent. Home owner you need to be made aware that the property management place is dragging your sales down. Customer service is more than answering a phone call- it’s fixing things and being responsive. Upon checking in here’s what we experienced with photos. Poop in the pool area that we were told is from animals in a screened pool?? Dead bugs on every ledge and black mold in showers. Fridge water/ice doesn’t work, movie projector screen doesn’t work, pile of kitchen rusty/greasy scrap metal for us to enjoy in the pool area. Maintenance people came to put chemicals in the pool we are using and didn’t turn heat back on. Water is now 57 degrees for us to enjoy on our one swim day. I had an amazing stay. The home was super clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The pool table and theater room were huge highlights and made the nights just as fun as the days. The private pool was beautiful and great for cooling off in the heat. Overall, it was the perfect place for a getaway, and I would definitely stay here again.

Run!! Do not book here!!||This home, located at 8955 Amelia Downs Trail and managed by Shine Villas, is completely infested with roaches and ants. My family’s vacation was ruined, and the company knowingly ignored complaints while falsely advertising this property as a livable rental.||||⸻||||Day 1: Arrival and First Impressions||||We arrived late at 11:30 PM after a six-hour drive with several exhausted kids. At the entrance, I noticed a couple of roaches near the door but initially brushed it off, thinking, “It’s Florida, it’s hot—it could just be outside pests.”||||After putting the kids to bed, I went downstairs to look around. We came here to celebrate my bday. A ton of family flew in and drove into town. We had plenty of space throughout. The beds were super comfortable, the pool and hot tub were heated to perfection. Plenty of space for cooking, we used the grill as well. And any issues we came across, Villatel was super quick in responding and resolving.

We stayed with family for the week and it was good. I wouldn't say luxury at all. The rugs in the living room still had crumbs, there were snacks by the pool under chairs, poor seating options. In the kitchen there was a decent amount of pots/utensils but that's all. No seasonings, foil, parchment paper, there were some extra trash bags but not enough. There were no extra blankets for the theater area or living room. The gates aren't super secure, anyone could go through. The pool area is really nice!
