Solara Resort Clubhouse

Stayed at a VRBO in the community and visited the pool for a swim. The main pool was fine. The splash pad a few small slides for little kids. It had a nice playground but be careful - if your kids run barefoot they will end up black from the rubber ground cover. The pool area also had a flowrider area for body boarding and surfing. It's an extra charge and you have to book in advance. I booked an hour session for a group of 7. Everyone got 2 turns within the session. The kids had a blast and I wish there was more time.

No issues with the house we stayed at. The issue is with Solara as a whole. Stated Thanksgiving week, we ended up leaving a day early because we were miserable. |- SO NOISY! Muscle cars racing down the street almost the entire night.|- Neighbors smoked pot. We had an 18 month old baby so it was hard to enjoy pool time since they kept smoking.|- Neighbors across having a party, about 15 people|- Trying to get into Solara after a long day at the parks was frustrating. So many cars registering at gate each night and the cars wouldn’t move so that we could access the gate that is for registered guests||Not relaxing at all. We will never stay off Disney property again.

This Resort is the most relaxing place I have ever been and we have 3 kids traveling with us. We spent most of our time at the club house and the staff took great care of us. Mimi, and Lynn were so good with the kids at the pool. One of my kids is non verbal autistic and I can’t tell you how much it meant to us that these 2 staff members were actively doing their job with care. Thank you so much we will 100% be coming back next year!

Mimi, one of the guards at the pool was outstanding. Was so involved with our 3 boys and played the whole time with them. Definitely made the pool experience for all of us. Thank you Mimi! Can’t wait to come back!

We rented a unit at this resort for a week. The unit was described to have 5.5 baths, however the unit only had 4.5 baths. When we first got to our unit, the code to get into our unit was not set to the correct code, so we could not get into our unit. There was an airhockey table in one of the rooms. The table did not have a power cord to be able to use it. Even if there was a power cord on the table, the table was so unstable it still would not be able to be used. During our stay there were a number of times that the security gate would not open. Also during our stay there were lawn sprinklers that were broken and spraying large amounts of retention pond water on to the vehicles that had to drive past the broken sprinklers
