Snowy River Motel

Only good thing about this place is location. Rooms are disgusting. Towels are black and hard as a rock. Feels and looks like everything in this hotel is from when it was built including the mattress. Gentlemen when checking in was rude. I only needed a place to sleep and keep my dogs while building a fence around my property and after entering rooms I didn't feel comfortable leaving even my dogs in there.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke. There was no toilet paper when we arrived. The coffee maker was not even assembled. The bathroom floors were very dirty. The carpet and upholstered chair were filthy. The walls didn’t meet the floor in the back of the room. The mattresses sagged in the middle. Need I go on? We stayed because it was no refund reservation, but before nightfall I bought new sheets and placed them over the existing bedding. Only time in my life I have done that. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Oh and the WiFi was out.

Boy oh boy do I have a story to tell! If I could give this place 0-0 Stars I would! The only positive thing that I can say about this motel according to my husband they have smoking rooms oh joy! Open the door and got hit in the face with a 67-year-old cigarette smoking room that literally smelled like it was from the 60s. I was absolutely appalled and definitely under enthused and unimpressed is an understatement! Location location location location location location somebody needs to tell these people how about fabuloso, bleach,mold killer, spackle and roof repair. The windows are filthy, the floors are filthy the walls are filthy 🤢 baseboards probably haven't been cleaned in a few years please see my photos because you will see that I am not exaggerating! There are no other guests here

It's very affordable! Unfortunately being this is low budget hotel you don't get a lot. Great central location, walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The room was OK, not very clean and the shower was very difficult to use. There was a plumbing issue and we couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower, bad valve that only allowed cold to turn on. Microwave was really gross as was the shower. Room had nice flooring, bed was horrible. Fridge wasn't very clean and there was hair in sheets. Overall for a budget hotel I've stayed in worse. If your on a tight budget and need a place to get some sleep this isn't the worst place you could pick lol.

The location was a good spot. Right near downtown. Tons of food places. ETC. We got to the inn for check in and it was a simple process. 2pm check in. We took our keys and went to our room and were given another room afterward. Because we checked the bed to make sure all was well. There was hair all over the pillows. As well as dirt of some kind on the pillows and bed. The 2nd room was better. But the floor was dirty throughout the room. And right after we walked in we had to kill a cockroach. -The water was hot while taking a shower. Curtain in bathroom was not there though. -As well as when hands needed to be washed; There was a small bar of soap. -The bed was comfortable for the night. Slept well. -A/C unit worked great. Room was nice and cold all night. -Fridge in the room worked. N
