Best Western Paint Pony Lodge

We stayed here last year and liked it very much so used our accumulated BW points to have a free night here. Room very comfortable yet again. Breakfast was good as well next morning with different hot selections.|One thing I did not care for was the fact that room maid run over the toilet brush which dropped from her trolley and I realized the same toilet brush was being used in all the rooms she serviced. Not hygienic? In fact, to think about it no other hotel we stayed in had an individual toilet brush in so I would Imagine the same working policy for all hotels ? Yuck.

Convenient to Show Low Safeway but away from Pinetop Lakeside area. No pets policy resulted in our party dividing to another BW in Pinetop, with equally nice rooms and less cost. PP overall, fine, but overpriced for the area. Rooms just okay for BW.

Nice clean motel, with large room and nice amenities. Shampoo, soaps, conditioner, and lotion were much nicer than even what you get at more expensive hotels. One complaint: connectivity. There was only one USB outlet in the room, and it was in the clock (which it took a while to find). Also, with that outlet, as well as with my own USB wall charger plugged in, I got "not charging" notifications on both my phone and iPad.

Positive: The staff ABSOLUTELY! The desk clerk at check-in and at check-out were fantastic! Efficient and super friendly and accommodating. Negative: The HVAC unit in room 104 kept the room at about 80 degrees even with the thermostat set at 56 degrees.

Unexpected family illness required us to spend the night in Showlow. We stayed 7/23 checked in a little after 9 and the lady who was working the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and really helpful. It was very quiet. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast this morning was good work a lot of choices. It was more expensive than others in the area but the little bit of price difference was worth it with the quality of service. I will 100% stay there again.
