Snowshoe Valley Camping & Campground

Come across this place on my bike when I was passing through trying to find a spot to pull over and set up my tent. Awesome people with good hearts. Nice stream running through the camp gives some peace noise as you fall asleep. The road that runs through can get some early morning truck traffic that you’ll hear in the distance but I’m a sunrise guy so not an issue for me . Not the best reception but yet again not a big deal cause I like be disconnected out in nature. Why I give it a 5 star . Stay wild!

Peaceful farm like atmosphere, good management and large riverside campsites. Wi fi works well . Restaurants and grocery store are close.

We stayed here for a bike trip to Snowshoe and had a wonderful experience! Right by a beautiful stream and faces Snowshoe. Firepit was excellent! Highly recommend and will be back again!

Great choice of campsites and great river access. Practically right at the bottom of the mountain you can see the fireworks from your campground.

Great area to stay with easy access to Snowshoe mountain. Campsites are well marked and spread out.
