Rimfire Lodge

We love Rimfire lodge. Definitely has the ski lodge feel. The location couldn't be any better. We stayed in unit 144, which is on the bottom floor. You are steps from the ski lockers, elevators, and the village. The unit was clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The unit had up to date furnishings, games, books, so if you want a lazy day, you can curl up next to the fireplace and relax. The hot tub is also close being its on the bottom floor. The best of all, there is a large window that faces what looks like endless mountains and the sun sets over them are unbelievabe. Will definitely be booking that unit again.

Brigham for the win! So we booked for the weekend before Christmas and for a short weekend, our priority was walkability to the snow and village. The reviews I found here on the Rimfire were very polarized but we went ahead and booked “Brigham” room #209 and it did not disappoint! (I gather that Snowshoe Mtn sets certain standards for recent renovations for condo owners to get the “Brigham” label.) Our room was beautiful and recently renovated! It had everything we needed including a well appointed, full kitchen! We also loved the fire place ! ||The lodge itself was perfectly located in the village and all guest rooms get a ski locker for storing gear! ||Highly recommend the Rimfire Brigham rooms!||Note that there isn’t a front desk in the Rimfire lodge. Pay attention to your check-in in

Great spot for those visiting Snowshoe. We’ll be back 100% super hot spa tub, very convenient. Perfect for our family of 4. It’s not the ritz so curb your expectations. Definitely hits the 3 star hotel mark on the money.

Stayed here over the weekend to do some skiing with the family, though the location of the lodge is very convenient to restaurants & activities the room we stayed at was terrible. It was on the 2F over Starbucks, room was so dated, very poor lighting inside, beds were terrible it was just a mattress topper they put over a couch so our backs hurt after the 2nd night but we didn't have a lot of choices as the place was packed. The room had a little view of the village & the convenient location right in the village is a plus. Not a good place to stay if you're looking for comfort plus it's way overpriced

Stayed in RF 327 and very disappointed. It was not all that bad until we started to cook dinner and found out that sink it not draining and disposal is broken. The smell coming out of the sink was pure cat pee. Disgusting. When called housekeeping at 8pm, the lady says, “I put an order for maintenance and they will be there in next two hours window.” We ended up doing dishes in the bathroom.. ||My question: How does housekeeping not catch this? If housekeeping reported a problem, how could they release the room? Is management managing this place, or just collecting our money?
