Snowshoe Campground

Great little campground. Super clean, easy set up. Nice level spots (for the ones I've stayed in). A great choice and the views from the mountain top are incredible!

Lori called me the day before, set up the site #. No check in, just go to your site. Campground is only a couple years old, so no shade. Trees are in place but still small. One washer and one dryer $2.50 each with card reader! Nice.

Had few small issues that were a bit frustrating with the campground. By crazy chance I came across the owner in a common resort area. He was very understanding of the situation and explained the ways they have tried to sort the problems. It seemed as though he was interested in the criticism and provided compensation for the situation. Can’t always avoid problems but can always fix them. Will give it another go for sure

This is a great little campground. The only negative is the high sewer pipe that causes some inconvenience. Hopefully that can be resolved easily enough. The bathhouse and laundry area was very nice.

Simply put, we are impressed. The bathhouse is great! I had comfort knowing I had the privacy of a shower/toilet unit to myself. Utility hookups are housed in a unit with key code entry to allow for convenient check in/set up. Laundry facility and community propane grill for use if needed. Security cameras on site. Best of all it’s located right across from the Raven golf course at the base of Snowshoe Mountain! The only thing I was missing is a designated nature walking trail for my dogs, but I have faith that these things will be coming soon! Very pleased!
