Sleep Inn Walterboro I-95

This was a great stay! The first reason we chose this hotel was the convenient location. The pricing was good too and we have had good experiences at Sleep Inn over the years. As it turned out the rooms were clean and what just what we expected. Now that doesn't deservie a "10" score. One would expect a clean room at a reasonable price. Its like expecting a raise at your job because you did what was expected like coming in on time and peforming your job duties. Why I gave it a 10 was due to the staff. Tonya, at the front desk was so warm, welcoming and very helpful. She went above what we expected. The breakfast was very good, the area was very clean and neat. I booked a room at the Walterboro Sleep Inn on Nov 5th on the advice of the Comfort Inn reservation center. The location was convenient to I 95 and the price was fair. After checking out I found an additional $35 dollar fee on my credit card. I called the corporate number and found I was being charged for a missing pillow. When I contacted the front desk they said there was supposed to be 5 pillows in the room, and when housekeeping cleaned the room after we left they only found 4 on the bed. The front desk person (Tanya) did an investigation for me and found the extra pillow in the wrong room. She said the only person who could refund my money was the manager and she was out of country. I was assured the manager, who supposedly called in daily, would take care of my refund. Never

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The room is clean and comfortable.

Desk staff was wonderful. Room was clean. Shower was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, sausage, toast was hot and fresh, plus many other choices. Television could have been a little bigger. Refrigerator and microwave in room, if needed. Price was fair. I would definitely recommend~

Upon arriving and checking into the room there was a roach crawling on the door. The hotel attendant was very nice and attempted to help. But the manager Lisa Patel wanted a picture of the roach before she would refund the money back🤔🤔🤔! Who takes a picture of a crawling roach with the risk of it falling on the luggage
