Sleep Inn & Suites Niantic North

The rooms were decent, service is only provided per request, they had a warm continental breakfast available for guests. We were visiting USCGA it was a 20min drive not too bad. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

So if you plan on staying in the area I suggest elsewhere. Let me start by saying I’m a medical traveler, so I’ve stayed in multiple hotels all over . The front desk is nothing short of rude and unhelpful on a good day. I stayed for a week and decided to extend another. At 10:pm on A Saturday night I hear the front desk trying to enter my room with the master key. No knocking , no announcing who they were nothing . Then when asked why the were doing that the young woman replied that the room appeared vacant in their system. Funny I paid the previous Thursday made the reservation with the OWNER and had new keys given to me !!! The young woman threatened to call the police because she dislike the way she was spoken too after basically trying to let herself into my room at 10pm . Needless to

Positive: The location was convenient to explore the area in all directions. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was better than other hotels at this price point. In other words, they offered a full breakfast (buffet) vs a continental breakfast. Negative: I can't think of anything to say that would be negative. In all aspect's: property condition, personnel, and amenities were above average.

The stay was fine. My wife was thrilled that the toilet was dirty. She cleaned it herself. My concern is there are no microwaves in the guest rooms and being on the 3rd floor made it challenging to go to the first floor to use a microwave. Other than that it was fine

It wasn’t as nice as the last time we stayed there. The breakfast consisted of cold eggs, overdone sausage and cold bagels. The waffles needed more time in the griddle to become fully cooked. If you start breakfast at 7:00, you shouldn’t bring the stuff out of the refrigerator at 7:00. The room was okay, but the TV reception was on central time and kept searching for signal. You also might want to raise the height of the toilet to accommodate older people. The strip on the bottom of the shower door showed mold. It was also ineffective as the water leaked out onto the floor.
