Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA Holiday

Wonderful campground. We had a pull through 70 foot site with water and electric. They do let you dump your gray water on stones at the site but we didn’t feel comfortable doing that. There is a dump station on the way out. Our site had a wooden two person swing by the fire pit, grill, and table with four chairs. There is continental breakfast service in the office/store from 9-11am. Very nice to be able to have waffles on the day we were leaving. Staff in the office was so nice and helpful.

The staff at Niantic KOA is top notch. It started as soon as we arrived. Traffic caused us to show up much later than we expected. They still had an escort waiting to bring us to our site. This was a nice touch in the dark. Even though it was 8:30 at night the gentleman took his time and made sure we had everything we needed. He even came back first thing in the morning to make sure everything was okay. All the faculty riding around taking care of the facility were kind and made sure there were plenty of coins for the kids to find. The activities staff were all well prepared and patient. Nice campground trying hard (successfully) to impress their campers. Great location. Fantastic employees; very friendly, super helpful and always working. The sites were clean and well spaced. The right mix of shade and sun. Shuttle to beaches. Well stocked little store and a breakfast/pizza truck. The pool is excellent with a very nice clean sitting area surrounding it. Only one dump station is an issue but they said they’re adding two more. That should eliminate the long line at 11:00 am checkout. We’ll be back.

Able to order pizza from camp store for delivery to site, free waffle breakfast, free shuttle to some local attractions, putt putt golf, several area attractions close by. Very friendly staff, very clean and well maintained sites, level as well, nice restrooms. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing time at this campground truly a family-oriented gem with plenty of amenities and fun, for kids of all ages. from the moment we arrived, Delia greeted us warmly at check-in, setting the tone for a fantastic day. Ashley gave us a personal Halloween escort around the camp, which made the experience extra special, and Michaelhanded out a heartfelt touch by handing out candy bars, and capturing memories through photos and videos. Every area we occupied was clean, need, and tidy, and the bathrooms were in superb condition. The campground is well maintained and offers seasonal favorites like pumpkin painting, tie-dye, fire, truck rides, and tractor hay rides that are always a hit.
