Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North

We made the mistake of going to the SleepInn Harrisburg, South. It smelled like a spa, heavenly. The manager informed us that we booked the wrong SleepInn. He told us it was across town. We left and drove over to the SleepInn, North. I knew immediately that I had made a mistake. It smelled damp and musty. I asked if we could transfer our reservation to the SleepInn, South. The manager said it was not possible as I had booked the reservation thru a third party. We ended up staying the night and it was fine in the room but the hallway was musty smelling. I think it was from the pool as they had the door to that room propped open, probably trying to warm up that room as it was all glass. The manager did help us with the tv. We had a problem but he told us that you have to point the remote at

I reserved a room for a weekend stay. The staff was friendly. But the building smelled of old cigarette smoke. And the the pool water was a nasty green color. My wife suggested to an employee. That the pool needed to be shocked. And his response was nobody ever has time to do that. Plumbing needed some work. Slow drainage from the tub and sinks. The refrigerator in the room. Suddenly decided to defrost in the middle of the night. Leaking water on the floor. Then we discovered that the floor below us housed permanent residents. The entire stay got cut short. Because we couldn't bring ourselves to get into the pool. And that old smoke scent combined with. Whatever the permanent residents were cooking. Made it completely unworth our time. So we canceled the second day of the reservation. A

The hallway carpeting was not surface dirty but did have several large stains. And I wished that the breakfast could have ended a little later. I stayed there to go to a concert which ran late. The breakfast started at 6:30 AM and ended at 9:30 AM with check out not being into 11 AM. I felt like I was rushed to get up to be able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would stay again.

We slept, we had breakfast, we swam in the pool. Fine. Receptionist was rather insistent that my name was something other than my actual name, then argued, yes argued, about how to pronounce it (sorry, but I'm the expert there). Messed up the room keys so they had to be used upside down. Door handle to the room didn't work properly. Toilet didn't flush. Breakfast was pretty limited, and they ran out of coffee. Only one of three machines in the fitness center worked.

Follow up! I called back to speak with a supervisor he said I can go check the dumpster! With no care nothing after they lied and said the products were done! I got my shipment for my body wash on the 12th it’s only the 17th and I don’t use the same body wash every day. So I only used it 2-3 times since I got it but they said…. It was done damn thieves! I posted a pic of the date I got it! And they are saying it was done!
