While the room was clean there were several other important issues. There were large chunks of ice in between the handicap parking spaces, and probably others. My friend ended up falling while trying to get out of the car. There's no excuse for that! That ice can be cleared with a bit of effort... especially at the handicap parking. When I went for breakfast a 8 am on the first morning there was no sausage or eggs. Even about 30 minutes later there wasn't any brought out. On the second morning, there was sausage and eggs, but the eggs were cold. This was the worst Choice Hotel breakfast I've ever experienced. There wasn't enough towels left in the room or enough toilet paper.

Everything was good overall clean room, comfortable stay, and a solid breakfast. The gentleman running the breakfast was extremely friendly and made the experience better. There was a slight old smell in the building, but it didn’t affect the stay much. Definitely a good hotel for a overnight stop when traveling through. (Or in my case my semi truck breaking down and needing a place to stay while it gets fixed.)

We stayed in a pet room on the 1st floor. Our room had a terrible odor. Musty, wet dog, dirty room smell.|The carpet was torn in the entrance way. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels, that accepted dogs, that charged less and the rooms were immaculate. For $75 exra a night for a pet, that hotel should be ashamed that the rooms stink and have torn carpets. That hotel was the only one in the area that accepted pets or we definitely would have stayed some place else. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean. The TV, kept going in and out of service. The yappy dog across the hall, kept my dog wound up and constantly barking/whining. |The staff was friendly.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Privately owned hotel. Wasn't worth the price point. Heater was broken, employee came and fiddled with it and got it to work but can't be turned off. Bath drain stopper does not work. Elevators dirty, the pool was clean but had an ungodly ammount of either bleach or chlorine to the point it dyed our shirts 2 shades lighter. The add online said it was family friendly but some of the smells in the hallway had me think otherwise. I will stay somewhere else when I drive thru this part of the state.

Very pleasantly surprised. Hardest thing about this hotel was finding it as it's located in an industrial area just off a main road. But everything else was OUTSTANDING. First off, the hotel passed my cleanlinsss test -- walking barefoot in my room and my feet stayed clean. (That's a rarity even in the best of hotels.) The beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept soundly all night long. The service at breakfast was fabulous. The gentleman working in the dining area went out of his way to make my 2 year old feel welcome. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. We'll be sure to stay here again when we return to the Scranton area.
