Dunmore Inn

A typical roadside motel, just like in the movies — you pay, sleep, and hit the road again. Fairly clean and quiet. Good location for travelers heading north from NYC after about 3 hours of driving.

After renting this room we found out they have others with larger bathrooms. But we got a shower that when washing your hair, your arms hit the walls on both sides. Tiny as hell. Oh... no ice machine that I could find.

I have stayed at multiple other hotels in the area, ( Raddison, Holiday Inn). The Dunmore inn is more comfortable and has better room service than either, at a fraction of the price. I stay at this quaint motel every time I’m in town on business. Sometimes for a week + at a time. Hands down the small business that you want to be supporting.

This was a great stay. The room was small but but had refrigerator & microwave & hair dryer. The owners have done a great job renovating it! The price was fair and the owner was so very nice and personable! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Only a couple of things, maybe a table lamp on the end table to watch tv and maybe a hook in the bathroom for the hand towel. Otherwise, good stay!
