Sleep Inn Macon I-75

Let me start by saying this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It gets 1 star since I can't give it zero. I booked this hotel because of the good ratings on priceline. I will not stay at a hotel that is less than 8/10 or 4/5. The good: The evening front desk girl was polite. The end. The bad: I walked into my room to find a cockroach climbing on the wall. I immediately went to the front desk to request a new room. The lady said the hotel was booked full amd there were no options to move. I ended up going back into the room(with the hotels can of bug killer) to take a second look. When I moved the refrigerator, no less than a dozen more cockroaches scattered across the floor. Convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants, right of the interstate. Room was clean, shower was great. Lot of noise next door in supply room, and sounded like a gym was right above us. Sheets felt like they were made of paper, but even so, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok as far as free breakfasts go, powdered eggs, good sausage. No real complaints. For the price paid, I would stay there again.

Room was clean and quiet. Smell of marijuana from other people in the hotel. Not a fan. Breakfast was comprehensive and tasty and also well maintained by the desk person.

I needed a quick overnight stay and didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I was super nervous about this place because of the price but the reviews convinced me to give it a try since the rating was as high as much more expensive hotels. It was clean and safe which was the most important aspects. It is in a good area and it has been well maintained and updated. They have a breakfast which I missed due to a tennis tournament, but my son had it and said it was great. If you are traveling to Macon for tennis, this hotel is 6 minutes from John Drew Smith Tennis Center. The only two things that could’ve made it better…you could hear everything. You could even hear it if someone was walking quietly down the hall. We stayed on a Thursday night and there was no problem with noise, but if there wou

Location was nice easy to find. Train whistle do blow behind the hotel from time to time. Atmosphere is ok rooms are nice enough but ours was dirty toenails on bathroom floor told staff to clean they missed I got gloves from front desk did myself. Under the bed hasn’t been cleaned in a month dirt bottle caps. Gross value was ok but it’s the same breakfast every day and no change at all They don’t do anything to keep children and families from being very loud easily morning so us older people can try to sleep in. Talked to staff was told kids will be kids.
