Sleep Inn Historic

The first time we stayed, my son mentioned at check in to Andre at the front desk that it was his birthday. A couple of hours later, we found an envelope under our door with a happy birthday message and 2 Starbucks gift cards. It was such a lovely gesture from a very kind gentleman and made us want to come back. So we did, a couple months later, over Christmas. We had another lovely stay, and the staff was just as great. There was a woman whose name escapes me but who had great curls (Melissa?) who seemed like she was doing alllll the jobs as it was the holiday season and a couple employees apparently had called out. She was cheerful and kind. The rooms were comfortable, the location was perfect, the pool was great, the breakfast was plentiful. We’ll always stay here when we come to town.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The location is very good, as it is close to just about everything you would need during your stay. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and tourist areas close by. I stayed in a handicapped room due to need the bars in the bathtub. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy (mattress was on the softer side, which I like) and the linens were butter soft, with no visible burn marks or stains. The bathroom was big enough to fit a wheelchair (if needed) but it had a bathtub (w/drop down seat and bars) and was not a roll in shower. The towels were large and very soft and fluffy. They offer a full breakfast each morning consisting of the usual cereals, pastries/muffins, bread/bagels and on the hot side they have waffles,

I stayed in this area quite a while ago and chose the sleep inn for my business trip. I was greeted and welcomed by a nice gentleman. I was told about the area and he suggested some nice dining options. The room was comfortable and clean. I felt that my stay was better this time. I enjoyed breakfast before I left and it was delicious. The food was fresh and the area was clean. I felt like I was appreciated and I will be returning.

As a traveling member of my corporation, I find it hard to stay away from home comfortably. I stayed here while I was passing by, and I was not disappointed. The room was quiet, clean, and the linens actually looked new. I slept nicely. The next morning, I was greeted cheerfully by the front desk clerk. I was told about the breakfast, I tried something’s and it was tasty. I was shocked at how clean the grounds were. It looks like they had a little updating going on as well. This is a well taken care of property. A hidden gem!

As a traveling nurse and single female, let me say this was a well lit establishment. I felt very safe upon arrival and of course departure was just as good. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable - which I appreciate after being on my feet all day. The tub was so clean, I soaked that evening. I was happy with my stay. 12/10
