Sleep Inn

This was our 2nd time staying with Sleep Inn, Garner. The beds are very stiff & uncomfortable. The pillows feel nice at first, then squish down to nothing within a couple hours. The toilet paper is like thin sand paper. During our week long stay, we were wakened frequently by the sounds of doors slamming shut, people talking loudly in the hallways and one night, we heard the frightening screams of a woman for over an hour. HOWEVER, the positives include free breakfast, great water pressure in the showers, and fantastic customer service from the staff!

I mentioned the moldy Keurig and the man at the desk didn't seem to care. He didn't apologize or pretend to be concerned, he dismissed me and told me to have a nice day. I didn't even get a chance to mention the roaches that came out in the middle of the night.... otherwise I appreciated the early check in but that's about it...

The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good with a variety of food. The motel was quiet. The price was very reasonable. The room was clean. The only problem I saw was that our room could have used some cosmetic upgrade.

The room smelled like it had just been painted, the floor needed to be vacuumed and probably mopped but the worst was the vomit stuck to the walls on either side of the toilet. I didn’t notice the vomit until I was getting a shower the morning I checked out or I would have changed rooms.

Positive: Location was great! It was right off of the interstate and easy to find. There were several resturants and gas stations in the area as well. Also, a shopping center nearby. The staff was friendly. And there was a fridge and microwave. Negative: This hotel did not reflect its star rating. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were rhe size of decorative pillows. The floors, walls, and curtains were dirty. The shower had mildew. There was a dead roach in the entry way of the room.
