Skyway Inn & Airport Parking

I have stayed here twice now. The first time was sight unseen and had I known it wasn't very "modern looking" to put it lightly, I might not have stayed. But stay I did, with my young adult daughter. I might not have made that same decision had I seen the place first. I did stay last minute and I'd never been there. However, I did stay and while the rooms ARE outdated it was perfectly fine. Great value for a week of parking plus a room. I'd actually go so far as to call it a parking lot with a room included. I've parked at many other lots for more and I feel this one is actively managed in part because it's a very small lot. You leave your key and they shuffle your car around as needed which maybe some aren't as comfortable with but I didn't mind. The front desk is all business i

We used their parking and shuttle service while we flew for a vacation. When we returned, we called for a ride and were told 15-20 minutes. It's a 4 minute drive. After 20 minutes, the van went flying by without stopping. I called back and it was 20 more minutes before it came back. It was really cold at the pickup point and we were pretty aggravated having to wait that long for a ride back to our car. I will not use these people again.

We stayed here for the convenient access to the link light rail to the Seahawks stadium. On the plus side, it is only a block away, easy walk to the light rail station. The room was large with a comfortable king size bed. Check in was quick if not particularly personable. The room had a small refrigerator, desk with chair, tv, dresser, end tables and an armchair. There was shampoo, conditioner and soap. On the negative side, the room was not super clean. It was not visibly dirty at first look but there was some hair in the bath. The worst was the floor. It was a medium finished hard surface floor that looked clean but after walking around for just a few minutes, the bottoms of our socks were nearly black. I parked my car at their location and they shuttle person told me to meet them at same spot where I am being dropped off. I clicked a picture of pillar 2F and called them when I reached at the location. The lady on phone said that they don't pickup on 2F, so I have to go to 3A. I told her send the shuttle to 3A and I'll go there. I am waiting at 12 midnight with 2 kids and it has been 30 minutes already and shuttle is not here. Google map shows they are 1.7 miles or 5 minutes away. I will wait another 5 minutes than take cab to their location. I'LL NEVER PARK HERE AGAIN.

Loved the place! Very nice large room with all the amenities at a good price. Has good lighting, nice vanity, decent TV, good shower, and great AC. The bed was nice. And it is right next to a light rail station. I made the reservation late because the Motel 6 down the street canceled my reservation without telling me. Skyway Inn has nicer rooms at a better location and less in price that the Motel 6 located at 16500 Pacific Hwy South. Stay here instead.
