All standards here should be reevaluated. The hallways outside the room smelled strongly of smoke and cigarettes, along with other unpleasant odors that made the entire floor feel unclean and poorly maintained. For a hotel, especially near an airport, that’s unacceptable. The overall property felt neglected. Cleanliness and air quality are basic expectations, not luxuries. The worst part was discovering bed bugs. I woke up with multiple bites all over my body. That is not a small oversight, that’s a serious health and sanitation failure. No paying guest should ever have to experience that. When I raised concerns with the hotel and contacted the general manager, the issue was denied outright. There was no real effort to address it, and after a few emails, they stopped responding completel
Hotel was clean and convienent to the airport. We were able to walk the the sea-tac light rail system. There is no real food or breakfast available in the hotel so we walked to the closest restaurant (Denny's) for breakfast. There is a bamboo bar of some sort in the lobby - it looked a little sketchy. The hotel overall is older and needs updating - the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable but the bathroom could use a little updating.
This hotel is very convenient for a Seattle layover. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location near the metro is a plus. The 20% discount at the nearby Denny's restaurant was a good perk. However, the front desk service was poor. They gave unclear instructions for the airport shuttle, assuming I knew the layout of the airport, and were hard to reach by phone, hanging up on me several times. Most concerning, they double-charged my credit card at check-in even though I had pre-paid through Trip.com.Thankfully, Trip.com's customer service was excellent. I reported the issue to them, and they quickly contacted the hotel and secured a full refund for the overcharge.
I booked this Ramada for a ski weekend, hoping for the convenience of an airport-adjacent hotel and an early start towards the mountains. Instead, I found myself in something closer to a shelter. The first clue was the people sitting on the ground directly outside the front door, followed closely by the check-in desk, which was sealed behind thick plexiglass like a currency exchange in a warzone. The staff treated basic friendliness with deep suspicion, as though it were a known prelude to crimes. The parking lot inspired little confidence. Cameras watched over cars with plastic bag windows, vans that looked actively inhabited (including by kids), and an attendant booth that seemed purely decorative. Inside, the hallways smelled like hella drugs, and most of the other guests appeared to
The lady at the front desk was honestly the highlight of this stay. Super kind, helpful, and somehow doing the job of five people at once. She gave us everything we asked for (and more), switched our room with no issue, and explained things clearly. Major shout-out to her 👏🏽 Now… the hotel itself? That’s where things get interesting. The entire place has a strong “someone definitely smokes in the hallway” kind of smell. The pool that’s proudly advertised on the website? Closed since COVID...so please don’t pack your swimsuit like we did. The bathroom looked decent at first glance, but the ceiling had visible mold. The hairdryer technically works… as long as you press the plug just right and pray. No fridge in our room (apparently not all rooms get one), but there is a safe, hangers, and an
