I showed up at the RV Park at about 11 AM. Noone was at the kiosk. Noone answered when knocking at EITHER of the ON DUTY camp host spots. Called the number at the kiosk. NO ANSWER. Called the number at the camp host sites. NO ANSWER. Pretty sad for the rinky dinky size of the place! Lousy. No referrals here!!!!
campsites are very small and need a lot of attention. Picnic tables and both our family's sites and most around were unusable and dangerous. Missing and loose boards, or split and cut-up plastic on edges and benches. The disc golf course was great and the location to downtown Napa. Book with care.
Beautiful place to visit. Nice dog run water, electricity and wifi showers not pet fee all included in price.
The guy checking us in was super nice. A lady in a black car w a handicap tag drove up immediately after we arrived and hassled me about whether I had paid for my private vehicle, which I had, without looking for the tag on the dash. She also questioned where I parked it, where the nice gentleman had told me to park. She then proceeded to tell me my dog had to be on leash at all times even after I explained to her my dog has an e-collar on and is very well trained. She just was rude. There wasn’t a soul in sight. The dog park is incredibly small for how much open space there is. There are lots of stickers in the grass throughout the property that are annoying fyi. Also a weird light in front of our spot, I assume for frisbee golf. Oddly weird.
-Lovely mature tree, hiking/biking trails and close access to Napa amenities. -Dogs are allowed, though not welcome. All the trails and nature walks have multiple big signs that say no dogs allowed. Basically have to walk on the short road that allows RV/tent access. -“social hall” had a party of some kind while we where there. Music was bumping most of the afternoon/evening and we had almost the furthest spot away. -Most RV parking big enough for the unit, maybe the truck, bench even sat partly in the road -For the purpose of visiting wineries, this was enough to have a place to sleep but not much more than that. -staff nice. -couldn’t even have our propane fire pit which is usually allowed in California campsites.
