We were visiting town specifically for a show at the Blue Note and decided last minute that we didn't want to make the 1.5-hour drive home at 11 PM. I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s become my go to place in Napa. The location is perfect, just a couple blocks from downtown, so it’s easy to walk to restaurants, tasting rooms and shops. The winter weather was pleasantly crisp during my stay, which made exploring Napa especially enjoyable. The property looked extra beautiful decorated for the Christmas holiday with warm, festive touches throughout. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is consistently welcoming. Every stay has been wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

Easy, short walk to Riverfront and central downtown. Rooms are clean, upscale and really quiet. Heater was a little iffy; very tall ceilings and heater is close to the top. Good choice of quality breakfast items and the attendant was really friendly and helpful. We tried Napkins Bar & Grill and the server and food were incredible.

Okay, so from the very second we checked in, the whole stay at R Inn Napa was just outstanding. This place is a truly beautiful boutique hotel, kind of tucked right into the middle of downtown Napa. Honestly, it was the perfect jumping-off point for everything we wanted to do. They haven't missed a detail here; everything—from the super chic rooms to the cozy courtyards and even the little lounge areas—just shows this incredible level of care. Way beyond what you'd expect from a smaller, privately run spot.||But listen up, the property isn't even the best part. It's Sean, the owner. He's not just passionate about the R Inn, he's actually one of the most genuinely good and hospitable people we've ever run into. We had a really lovely stay here. The property was in a perfect location to explore downtown Napa, only a couple of minutes walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants. The property was absolutely stunning - the common areas and outside were done to such an amazing standard, the whole place felt very relaxing - we loved sitting outside with our glass of wine in the evenings. The items left out for breakfast were great, along with the snacks, this was all very well thought out and made the place feel homely. The reason for my slightly lower rating for the room and service was that we had a very spacious, big room but it lacked storage and felt a little ‘empty’? I would have liked with there being so much spare space maybe a little fridge for water and wine that we had brought throughout o
