Elm House Inn

I almost don’t want to write this review because I want to keep this little gem all to myself. My husband and I stayed 4 nights here for a business conference, in the Kind Annex Room. (And we could’ve stayed longer!) Nicely located within a 10-20 minute walking distance to downtown. The outdoor hot tub was much enjoyed by our party. It was clean and didn’t reek of chlorine - which was a huge bonus! The outside seating area was a lovely perk to visit with guests. Rooms were unique, with super comfortable beds and great sheets. Very quiet in the hotel - maybe that’s because we chose January (we heard a little road noise but just local traffic). Older building but nicely resonated. My daughter and I stayed here for three nights and I would definitely stay here again. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were nicely appointed. Breakfast while not gourmet was definitely satisfactory. Its an easy walk to town through a very pretty residential area. My only recommendation is request an upper floor. The first floor rooms all open out into the lounge/breakfast area.

Spent two nights at Elm House Inn with my sisters to celebrate a birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Queen Annex and it was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect because we could easily walk downtown to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very much appreciated and enjoyed! We had cheese omelets, croissants, fresh fruit, sausage, coffee, tea, juices! Everyone who worked at EHI was friendly and helpful, too. We can't wait to return!

This is the nicest hotel I have stayed in for the price. When compared to other hotels in a similar cost basis, this place far outpaces. It is quaint, room was very clean, bed was very comfortable and the pillows were also surprisingly good. At other hotels in this price range I am always surprised as to how terrible the pillows are. I did not get a chance to take much advantage of the amenities, but the tiny tase of breakfast I had was good. The only complaint I have about the breakfast is I think they should have freshly brewed coffee, and real cream. The staff was friendly and they gave me seamless instructions for a late check in witch was great! Definitely will stay here again when I come back to Napa!

My adult daughter and I stayed here for a girl's vacay just recently and our room was in the annex. This was a wonderful stay with a nice warm breakfast and friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious and beds/pillows were comfortable. It also had 2 sinks and large closet area. Located within 10 - 30 minutes to the many wineries we visited and 4 mins Uber to downtown Napa for dinners. Front desk loaned us an umbrella for a rainy morning that we headed out. We enjoyed the hot tub on two nights and it was such a peaceful backyard setting. We were only there for early mornings and later evenings, but we would recommend it.
