Customer Reviews
My wife and I stayed here on our drive through Shenandoah. The office and restaurant are in one place and you drive to the room that we had. It was in the Raven’s Nest building. The room was good, there were some dead bugs. It is a fine place to stay. The views are great and staff friendly. It was recommended to get in line at 5:00 for dinner, as they don’t take reservations. We got seated by the window and another beautiful vista. My wife had campfire trout that was a little fishy but good. My pork shank and grits were very good, if a little under seasoned. Skip the bread basket, chewy and un appetizing. Service is fast and casual. We are very happy that we stayed here.
Clean and comfortable stay.Restaraunt food was amazing! Service was excellent also! Nice bar/lounge and sitting area with fireplace.Rooms were 1970’s, not updated, but clean and comfortable. The views were fantastic! None better! It gave you a true mountain feel!
A nice place in the great outdoors. The staff are so friendly, a big shout out to Jeff who drives the shuttle. Do not judge the rooms by the dark brown exterior. My room had a lovely balcony and a very comfortable bed. Good lighting and a great shower. The restaurant has a little different type of menu, but there were healthier options. A very cute gift shop as well. Two gorgeous sunsets.
We had a really fun stay at Skyline Shenandoah! The views were beautiful, and the experience felt relaxing and unique at the same time. The place was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for getting away from the city and enjoying nature. Everything was thoughtfully set up, making the stay comfortable and easy. Definitely a memorable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and peaceful getaway. we also found a local artist to showcase her artwork. This is her oil paintings. If anyone is interested, please reach out me, to support local artist.
We spent three nights in a two-room "premium" suite at Skyland and really enjoyed it. The room was extremely clean and quiet, and within walking distance of the restaurant and retail/gift shop. The bathroom was very modern. We had daily housekeeping to remove trash and replenish towels, but they did not make/change the beds. We thought the beds were a little hard and the sofa cushions way too soft (past their useful life). There were two TVs with many channels and the microwave and mini-frig were appreciated. Heating/cooling were quiet and worked great. We really enjoyed the wood and fire starter logs for the fireplace, although it briefly set off the smoke alarm. The website says wi-fi is only available in the reception area, but we had service in our room. There were many outlet
