Silver Lake Resort

Nice resort. Rooms have plenty of room. The non hotel rooms have a full kitchen and washers and dryers. Pool area is nice and large. Lots of seating. The pool bar is nice and has good food at a fair price. The only negative was unsupervised kids in the pool area. Running and jumping in to the hot tub was an issue. There were an number of kids in and out of the hot tub, most under 10 years of age One kid, 5-7 years old was in the hot tub with his father and kid kept saying that is was too hot for him. The sign says 12 and under not allowed in the spa area. Staff should enforce the rule.

Front desk service good. We actually used 2 rooms during this stay, 1 in bldg 400 early in the week 1 in room 200 at the end of week. Both were not cleaned properly. We had trash right out back door of room in bldg 200 to include prescription medicine. Parking was difficult some nights. We enjoyed the pool area. That was nice and calming until people being people were grabbing pool loungers. But people being people is not resort's fault. Kitchen amenities not consistent no frying pan in bldg 200 room. Shower difficult to work in bldg 200.

We had a few issues with our room. Once I notified the service desk, everything was immediately resolved. Loved our condo and kitchen. Great location for shopping restaurants and close to Disney. Very helpful resort with Beautiful pool and a cabana bar and grill with drinks, good food and reasonably priced and a happy hour.

We stayed here through my timeshare for our Disney trip. It’s conveniently located close to all of the Disney theme parks and about 30 minutes from Universal in Orlando. The resort is very clean with lots of great amenities. Every resort has little differences that are interesting. This one had a market near check in which was overpriced, but very convenient. They also had multiple luggage carts which not all of the resorts have. There is a beautiful pool area with hot tub and a small kids pool. There is also a volleyball net and a life size chess board located in the pool area. There is also a basketball court, tennis court, movie theater, activity center and game room. There are daily activities planned. Some are free, some have an additional cost. We had a 3 bedroom with full kitchen,

We absolutely loved this resort. Everyone was friendly, no pressure to go to timeshare meeting. Location was fantastic. Easy drive to Disney and universal parks. Our 3 bedroom was huge. The facilities were fantastic. Heated pool was perfect even with cooler weather.
