Signature Inn Berkeley

Stayed just one night while my son toured Berkeley campus. Hotel room was a little tight, but was clean and tidy. Parking was a little cramp. Rooms had retro decor that matched the theme of the hotel. Complementary water and snacks. Location was awesome and we could walk top any number of restaurants and shops . including target

Checking in was a breeze, they got me in an upstairs room, well built clean building, mostly looked recently painted. Amenities in the room itself were quite nice. Wish the shower head was higher on the wall, but had nice hot showers in there. Quiet at night, didn't notice any noise from University Ave.

I’ve stayed at the Signature Inn multiple times. I will state that the new owners have put in a great deal of effort in changing the style around. However, the details are just as important as the new concepts. The rooms aren’t large but they are doable. The cleaning staff don’t speak English, but they are extremely kind. The office staff are genuine people. The Owners, I believe are a family. However, the husband is very very flexible and a chill person. As a fellow owner and operator of two rentals, I can appreciate this service. One time during my stay, I had to stay a little past check out due to an interview. Though there was a back and forth, he was amenable to letting me extend my check out to accommodate for a last minute interview I received. His wife on the other hand was very ru

Just horrible laid out. The rooms are terrible, you can't open the fridge because its too close to the bed. All the furnishings were bought with an eye to "it'll look cute in pictures," not for being usable. No curtains, so enjoy the light. And the internet went out repeatedly

This hotel does not take CLC crewfax and will demand that your employees provide cards without following proper process or show willingness to partner with CLC and customer to sort out how to complete the transaction. They dont even utilize a fax machine. They just straight out refuse service.
