The Claremont is absolutely beautiful, shout out to Effie. The check-in and check-out process we easy and flawless because of her. Jonas was such a sweetheart and gave great recommendations on where to go. The room we got was great with an amazing view. The trip we were stressing on was a stroll in the park thanks to the Claremont. See you soon!

Positive: The coffee bar was cute downstairs Negative: Staff not nice charged $100 to check in 3 hours early when rooms were totally available. Smelled so bad in hotel. No help with bags. No sign where main lobby was Total mess of a hotel

I splurged and stayed in the tower suite for a night during Christmas season. The location is great, nestled in the Berkeley hills. The staff was very professional and polite. I had a bit of trouble finding the room initially but one of the staff (Hannah I believe) was very kind and sweet and helped me find it. The room was amazing and it was just a short stair walk to get up to the tower. What amazing views! If I had to nitpick anything it was that the holiday decorations in the room felt a bit cluttery. I had to move several items just to get some dresser and table space. Overall though it was an amazing stay.

I recently stayed at The Claremont Hotel, and while the property itself is stunning, the standout highlight of my visit was undoubtedly Effie at the front desk. From the moment I walked through the doors, Effie greeted me with a level of warmth and professionalism that is rare to find. She didn't just check me in; she made me feel truly welcome. She has an incredible ability to balance efficiency with a genuine, personal touch—navigating my questions with ease and offering local recommendations that turned out to be the highlights of my trip. What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, ensuring every aspect of my stay was seamless. It’s clear that Effie takes immense pride in her work and cares deeply about the guest experience.

This hotel is beautiful. But the experience of checking in and being cared for by jonas changed the hotel experience to be unforgettable. He greeted us with such a warm welcoming smile and was very helpful. Getting acquainted to the hotel and what it all offers. Thank you for hiring jonas
