Shoreham Hotel

You can’t beat the location. I usually stay across the street at Hilton Doubletree on fifth Ave. and had they not been sold out, that would still be my first choice. This hotel had no heat in my room when I arrived. There was a space heater left in the room so I am certain they were aware of the situation. The space heater was small and did not heat the room well. When I called and told them of the issue they offered another blanket (!!!) NYC in December is cold… I feel more accommodations should have been made. Another room, or discount. The room itself is okay. For the price point you would want better quality. I do give the hotel’s restaurant, White Olive, Five stars. I won’t book here again. Not when there are better quality hotels in walking distance for the same price point.

The worst service. Some staff were very helpful but some felt like someone forced them to work. Not recommended to stay. Called them several times from my cell phone and the room. Nobody was responding Ps. The room was great a lil small but it was quiet the location is perfect for walking around. I had changed my reviews from 1 star to three and four bc the room didn’t do anything wrong but people were so. Nice place for sleeping

My daughter and I stayed at the Shoreham for one night during our stopover in NYC. Great location in midtown: you can walk or take the subway anywhere! The staff at this hotel were both friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was large and clean, but everything was a bit on the older side and could use a bit of a refresh. However, for the price and location, this is a decent choice.

I was surprise me on the review scale. So my first time here and in comparison to 5 stars and budget I must have gotten lucky. It was last minut trip and hotel is little dated but got it for a decent price. First thing inward greeted and was offered to bump up my experience. Got a floor 9 with a view. They have little concession that has everything one needs with nice cup of hot tea before sleep. Not the cheapest cup but always served with a smile. Been here for 4 days and each day had a same excellent service. Somhopy this will bump up the stars. The location is excellent walking distance to all of my business arrangements. I Guess I could Score down the WiFi which o could not connect. I did not call as I had anticipated this and brought my hotspot. Still will rate this as hidden gem for

Positive: Staff were amazing and friendly and the location is amazing for the price. The beds themselves were very clean and comfortable. Negative: Did not come with a fridge by default and had to request one for medical reasons. No microwave, no drain cover or seal for the bathtub, stains or scratches on the furniture and floor. The beds were clean which was the only thing that kept it above a motel
