Staff is amazing. Building is old. Rooms in building C are old and outdated and in disrepair. Shilo inn's heyday is in the rearview mirror at this location. The main building is better. Dog friendly rooms are the older ones. View and location are fabulous. Price is high for amenities and room quality but location is great. Parking is good. Being within walking distance to the Nye Beach district is the attraction. On the beach so it only takes a short walk down the concrete stairway to access. Beach is flat and wide. Bedding leaves something to be desired.

Currently changing owners since the Shilo Inn bankruptcy. The hotel is now called Seagrass Oceanfront Inn. It will soon be completely remodeled and brought back to life. Amazing ocean views in every room and a staircase down to the beach. Super friendly staff.

Great place to stay! The room was a bit dated but was super clean and quiet. The view of the beach & ocean was fantastic. All the amenities were there (fridge, microwave, shampoos & soaps) and they had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at any hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly especially the manager (Lance?). Kudos to housekeeping for the well kept room.

Just like all of the rest.... amazing views, ok mattress, clean(ish) rooms, great staff. No free breakfast No pool No in-room service (which i dont like anyhow) No extra towels (they barely have enough for the rooms they have. Plus, the ones they do have are stained in such,a way they look dirty) Microwave and fridge in room and the room is not up to electrical code (not a lot of receptacles). No USB lights or receptacles- no surprise. Whole room is very dated.

The room is very outdated and feels like it’s falling apart. I could feel the floor creaking under me, and everything about the hotel seems to be decaying. Honestly, I don’t think this hotel will still be around in the next couple of years. The view is amazing, but that’s the only positive. The price is way too high for what you get very expensive for a room that offers almost nothing. Some rooms have kitchens, but ours only had a fridge and a microwave, which definitely didn’t justify the cost. The property itself is in bad shape. I noticed gutters falling apart and siding stored underneath the building. There are just too many things wrong with this place to ignore.
