The staff are great-very friendly and helpful. The bathroom light was broken and maintenance fixed it before we got back to the room. The room was comfortable but nothing special. You can tell the rooms were renovated a few years ago. There is a mix of old and new. I call the restaurant the Cafe Disappointment. The menu lists two salads and three sandwiches. They do not like to turn on the heat. The thermostat I saw was set to either 65 or 68. It was really cold, especially in the conference rooms. In the end, none of this matters. The hotel was sold to a local college and will close soon.

I was on a business trip and booked this place almost a month ago. This place is laid back and very old, really had a hard time with showers inside and lighting. I would definitely not recommend it at all rather get another hotel that’s is much newer, neat and clean. Rough place to stay and the room we had was even chosen by the agent at the check-in.

We had a very mixed experience staying at this hotel on our Salt Lake City trip. ||The staff appear nice to your face but don't really care when you have a genuine problem or concern. Vanessa was very nice at first glance but when we had to tell her some of our issues, she got defensive and didn't seem to be understanding one bit.||The actual hotel is outdated but still maintains an upscale vibe. The lobby is the nicest part, you can tell it has aged well, with a beautiful fireplace, a really nice Starbucks and even a really cute local gift shop. There's also a lower floor with a salon and a gym, but there were some creepy people sitting in the gym for 2+ hours on their phones and giving us looks. ||The hallways and rooms is when this hotel's age starts to show. The hallways are dimly lit

Positive: All of the public areas were very nice. Negative: A 4 star hotel that doesn?t have queen beds? We were tossing and turning on a hard bed that one person couldn?t even fit on. There were spider webs in the room. The tub creaked and sounded like you?re going to fall through to the first floor. Not happy.

I had a good stay, but Azra in the lounge on 10th floor is what made my stay. She was very kind and always took great care of my group and I. We are staying for a few weeks for work and she starts and ends our days with a great attitude and smile. I have to give her a shout out, thank you Azra!
