Sheraton Parsippany Hotel

Got married and booked our hotel rooms here. The experience booking it was ok- they were not quick to respond and there was a lot of back and forth. The night before our wedding, we were at the bar and the bartender Dan tried to cut off my fiancé, even though he was fine. When he saw him take another drink, he walked over to our table and physically snatched it out of his hand. It was extremely rude and unprofessional and I can’t believe he treated us which such aggression. He had no right to do that to a person who was just enjoying spending time with his close friends and family he hasn’t seen in a long time. He also was glaring at all of us as soon as we sat down and I felt targeted by him (perhaps because we were all minorities). I felt extremely uncomfortable from the start. In addit

This property fell far below expectations. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was rundown. I noticed it immediately when I walked in and was quite surprised given how Sheraton has such a good reputation for high quality hotels. ||The manager. Mr. Mosley was very nice and explained that the hotel had not been renovated in a very long time. I asked if I could change rooms but he said that most of the rooms had stained carpets and they only steam them every quarter. ||I also asked for a blanket and they brought me a blood stained mattress cover instead. I immediately called and asked for a replacement. After waiting a 1/2 hour, I took the blood stained mattress cover to the front desk at which time the manager replaced it for an actual blanket. My hunny promised he would take me here one day because it looks like a castle, so we came here for Valentine’s Day. The staff was nice, plenty of parking and rooms were quiet. However, Valentine’s Day this year was a semi formal and a wedding so parking that night was awful. There should be spaces for hotel guests and separate events so hotel guests don’t have to park down the block. The location is right off the highway but very quiet. I didn’t like the traffic light at the entrance of the hotel because it’s very hard to see around the bend when turning right on red. The rooms are big and nice, the bathrooms were small, that’s the only thing I didn’t like - it was hard getting out of the shower if the door was opened and when its closed it gets very hot in there. I recommend.

This hotel experience was easily the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. We signed a contract with our room block to have a suite and shuttle included with our stay. They claimed only 2 rooms were booked with our link even thought clearly there were at least 15/-20 rooms booked. Furthermore when I was at the bar enjoying my time with my family and groomsmen the "bartender" Dan snatched the beer out of my hand stating I was cut off. I wish that would give a rating lower than 1 star because if I could I would give my Sheraton Parsipanny experience a negative 10 stars. You would be better off sleeping on the curb in front of the hotel.

Positive: I loved everything about it and before I left, I rebooked it for another pre cruise stay this August. Negative: NO COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE. Yikes, I tried the Starbucks Coffee and it was horrible! Will know better next time.
