Hampton Inn Parsippany

Room is clearly very dated and didn’t come with a fridge unlike the connecting Hilton (if I’m not mistaken). Other than that, the room was spacious and had the things you’d expect a Hampton to have including a solid free breakfast with a waffle maker. Worked ok for a weekend stay, but the place could definitely use some renovation.

Lives up to Hampton Inn reliability! Is it fancy? No, but you knew that. Do the rooms show a little wear? Yes, but so does my living room. Exceptionally clean rooms; pleasant service; comfortanble beds; waffle maker at breakfast. But, this Inn has a secret; It is connected to a Hilton, and you can use the very nice pool; work out in a decent fitness room; and eat a good dinner at Ruth's Chris restaurant; or upgrade your breakfast. Extra shout out to the team as the night we were there the Hilton had been designated a staging area for a storm-related state of emergency. Dozens of electrical workers showed up on short notice and the team did such a good job handling the influx, and making sure everyone was still taken care of. Clearly a well run place. Thanks!

Positive: Not much Negative: The quality of the room was poor. It did not match the photos you had listed on your site. The ceiling had areas where it had begun to peel and cave in. Ceiling lights were knocked out. The bathroom wall was pulling away from the structure. It felt dirty.

Terrible experience. There was essentially NO internet connection in our hotel room on the 6th floor. The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak and unreliable. On rare occasions it would connect, but it dropped within a minute. This happened on multiple devices, including our phones and iPad. I spent more than an hour on the phone with guest Wi-Fi support, but the issue was not resolved. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that the hotel was fully booked for the next few days, so changing rooms was not an option. As a result, we are stuck in a room without usable internet and will have to stand in the hallway to get a connection for the next few days. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing. Okay so it’s a bit old but it was really clean. if a hotel had good bones this place is it. It feels safe, it’s off the beaten path. There are long breakfast hours 6am to 10am. They have the waffle makers one big waffle or the minis! If you need a place to get off the road, this is your place. I’ve traveled all over the world and in so many hotels. Sometimes for a night sometimes for a week. I can’t speak for others but it’s decent.
