Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel

I did not spend a night at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. I was at the hotel attending the CGTV auditions, held in their grand ballroom. I needed to print photos as I forgot to do that at home. Luckily, I knew that hotels typically have computers and printers available to use. I did have difficulty with the printer as even though there was paper in the printer, the printer kept indicating that the paper was low. Toby, the hotel clerk, tried to troubleshoot the printer but did not have luck. After a couple attempts, he told me that instead I can email the photos to his email and he can print the photos to the printer between the front desk. I really appreciated his help and I was able to get the photos that I needed. He printed extra incase as well. Great customer service!

Rooms are clean and nice. Anything we needed, they brought for us. But I really want to give a HUGE shout out to Mario in the restaurant. Customer service out of this world and friendly, courteous, and showed so much grace. If we could all be a little more like him, this world would be a better place. Thank you, Mario, because of you I will be back. Also, wanted to say, Valisa (sp?) at the front desk was wonderful as well! Thank you both! Actually GM was great too! Thanks!

I stayed at the Sheraton Minneapolis West recently and was surprised to see a $542 (with tax) smoking fee added to my credit card after I checked out. I want to be absolutely clear: I do not smoke, and no one in my room smoked or vaped at any point during my stay. I was travelling with a child still in a crib. What concerns me most is that the hotel provided no actual evidence of smoking. The only explanation I received was that a “sensor” supposedly went off, which they admitted can be triggered by hot showers. The only sensor event occurred in the middle of a 7-night stay, and nothing was mentioned to me during the stay or at checkout. To discover this charge afterward was extremely disappointing. I checked in on a Thursday evening. I had a two night stay for 170$ /night.The room had old food and a fork with dried food behind the night stand. The hot tub jets blew cold water making it not even as warm as a bath! The hallways stunk as the carpets were filthy and old. The service desk was terrible. They kept adding charges to my card. I ended up paying $855.41 for one night stay. I'm in the process of a card dispute to get a refund. I tried to show the Indian man my card charges but he wouldn't listen. I swore at him and he kicked us out so we only were there one night. I will never use Sheraton again!
