Positive: Although this hotel is undergoing renovations, there was no noise and everything was scrupulously clean. My bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and well organized. Breakfast was provided, and there were many tasty options. Negative: ""

Even though this hotel was under construction it was still one of the best places we've ever stayed. The care and level of service was impeccable. The person who managed the breakfast should be given five gold stars and a raise. She was attentive, everything was hot and fresh, and nothing ran out even though it was very busy.

We booked a room for Friday/Saturday, 8/15 and 8/16. The hallway on the 3rd floor was all torn up with construction, it smelled terrible. We checked in, and checked out a few hours later because we couldn't stand the smell and the noise. This place shouldn't be open until they complete the construction, it's terrible. I was guaranteed a refund, haven't seen it yet. The woman at the front desk was very nice and sympathetic. Even apart from the construction, this place doesn't meet the standards I've seen at other HIE. It's just a rectangular building surrounded by parking lot. Very disappointing, I'm not looking forward to trying to get my money back. **ETA, the credit card transaction was cancelled a week later.

They had continual renovations going on causing severe dust and noise. We had to be moved 3 times to try to escape the dust. They would say they would put us on a floor that was not being sanded etc... we would move to the next room.. and the sanding and noise would start on that floor. This was 3 times in 1 week. They have a nice breakfast but they close it down immediately after breakfast. I think they should have left coffee and some Danish, fruit or something like that out throughout the entire day to say thank you, and to make up for the inconvenience of staying in their loud, dusty hotel. Important to note the location is completely torn up currently. My mouth literally dropped when I went to my floor. It’s not just the lobby, it’s the hallways and rooms. They should not be selling rooms at their current state. I wish a truthful review had been there so I could have avoided arriving then frantically having to find a new hotel to stay at. Also wouldn’t (COULDNT, it seemed due to construction) give me any kind of proof of cancellation or refund so we will see how that works out.
