Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel

Positive: The manager was very nice and was finally able to get us a room at 11:30PM yes PM that had air conditioning that worked. Negative: We arrived to the hotel at 5:46 PM and our room was not even ready, was not ready for 40 mins. We were charged 55$ for valet parking because self parking was not available.The first room we had did not have working AC did not get one with AC until 11:30PM

I stayed here New Year's Eve with my wife so we didn't have to drive home after going out downtown. We paid just a little bit extra to be able to see the circle monument. I was very happy with the stay. We were just there one night, nothing of any note to complain of. It served our purpose very well. Of course there are nicer hotels out there, I'm not saying this is the creme de la creme. I am saying that it occupies a very nice space balanced between value and luxury with a very convenient location and nice views.

The hotel is pretty old and the walls are paper thin, but the location is good. However, the worst part of this hotel is their scammy "fire detector" in every room that will automatically charge $500+tax smoking fee even if you don't smoke. Be aware this has happened to multiple people and this false charge is incredibly difficult to remove once they charge you. They won't even ask you about it, instead, they just slip the fee receipt paper through the bottom of the door and leave quickly. What a horrible practice, and they should be ashamed. The only good feature of this hotel is the lounge attendant. He is excellent at customer service and his work ethics should be praised.

Booked on a black Friday special so the price was very good. The price to park on site is outrageous so I parked at a parking garage a 4 minute walk away. This was good for the price I paid, but I just seen the price up to over $300 a night now. Not worth it at that price. Valet was on it and I appreciated that. Room was very dated looking and they put us across from other people. This place is massive and it didn't appear to be packed so I'm not sure why they had us so close to other people so we had to listen to them in and out of there room all night. The front desk was great and even provided us with a free water. Great hotel if you can get a good discount.

Let me begin by saying that I wrote a review of this hotel, ran it through Copilot to give my jumbled thoughts some structure, then tried posting. Tripadvisor asks for an attestation that the experience and review are mine AND THEY ARE!!! Let's see if they'll push back on my REAL review again. ||I spent 11 nights in October at this Sheraton. Although the service provided was terrific, I rated my stay 4 out of 5 states only because the rooms are in need of updating.||At check-in, Raine & Sabrina at the front desk made me feel like a old friend. Their warmth in greeting me each day that they were at the front desk added a personal touch to my stay overall.||The buffet breakfast was very good, tasty and impeccably clean.
