These are some of the kindest and most accommodating people I've ever experienced. Everything was amazing and their dog rusty is by far a highlight for me. I literally can't type enough words to describe how amazing the hosts they are because Google has a word Limit. Me and my wife have been here twice, and we absolutely love it. The owner is very accommodating and pleasant. This place is a hidden gem in the valley! Very affordable, plus there is free water and dumping 15 mins away in Del Norte! There are a couple spots that have electrical. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Don't miss out!! 5 stars!!!!
The Dictionary describes Serendipity as the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for... ...and the Serendipity Base Camp could not be more perfectly named. We were unexpectedly in a situation where we needed help and unknowingly met Miss Kallie, the angel of mercy in the San Luis Valley, who not only offered a place for us to regroup, but a sense of community the likes of which we had never encountered. Make sure you find Mr Chris for any help or just some good advice to help you on your way. A true oasis of the Valley.
Very rustic and no hookups, but was grateful to have a lower cost option. Would stay again.
