Monte Villa Hotel

Rooms are smaller and the bathroom is too. But this is an older hotel. Did have a portable ac unit in the room and it cooled the room well. Bed was comfy and it was quiet. For me it was a nice stay. Embrace the quirkiness

Absolutely delightful stay! So accommodating, kind, and clean. A quieter, more private vibe which was super appreciated. Very affordable too. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

I actually really enjoyed our stay here. There are definitely some quirks, but what a cool hotel. Check-in was good. The staff actually walked me to the elevator to show it to me. It is old, but works fine. There are so many cool spaces to hang out from the lobby to the old bar, the cafeteria, even every floor has an area with chairs and tables. It's an old but beautiful hotel.||||Our room was small but renovated. The curtains were so high it was tough to open and close them and the sink was rather tiny. However, the bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, decent amenities, good water pressure and hot water. Positive: Great location Negative: Hotel is very dirty, I brought it up with the owner. She was not interested in hearing about it. It was so bad I didn’t even stay, I booked another note down the street. Hotel bedding was not clean, floor was extremely dirty.

Wow, what a great overnight stay in a 1930’s vintage Monte Villa hotel filled with a perfect blend of antiques and comfy seating on every level, inviting weary travelers to relax and make themselves at home. The main lobby is filled with delightfully soft music, classical art, low-lighting and has a very nice meeting area for events or small and intimate family gatherings. The original antique elevator is something truly special; oh, the generations of people who have relied on its faithful service and the stories it could tell. Please be gentle with it!
