Sandhill Inn & Suites

We had a pleasant stay. Enough parking spaces. Location was good. The desk guy on duty was helpful. No water in the pool, it would be better to put some blinds on the door so it is not so noticeable when coming (pool door is in the lobby on the right). Based on the reviews from Booking, the pool is not accessible for at least 2 years. Our room was right next to the breakfast preparation room, so it was loud in the morning. It was very close to the breakfast area, that's why we heard people, children... Breakfast was almost non-existent. When we arrived at 8am, there were empty trays, no bread or toast, no pastries or muffins.... We waited 10-15 minutes while drinking coffee coffee, but nothing was replenished. We thought of all the previous hotels/motels we stayed in during our road trips

Absolutely love this hotel!! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience. The housekeeper even remembered what coffee we liked and brought it back to us to make sure we got it. I was shocked. The hotel is modern and has beautiful lobby and breakfast area. The rooms have their own Keurig and pods and are very clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was well stocked with towels and immaculately clean. All of the staff were more than helpful and always had a smile on their face- a lot of hotels could take a page from this hotel's staff book for customer service. Very nice hotel, excellent staff, great location as you can walk to most restaurants, in a great area in close proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park. And at least than

You have a very nice web page and describe a beautiful experience. We stayed there on Friday August 5th and did not enjoy the stay at all. The check in was a young man with extreme body odor, a baby/toddler in just a stinky diaper and a young woman who had food scattered everywhere. No mention that the pool was closed on the web page. The hall was dirty, the air conditioning smelled so badly of mold that we didn’t use it. The one hallway off the lounge was full and there were plenty of other rooms. The guests on ALL sides of us were insanely loud. The breakfast sucked and the grounds were overgrown and need grooming. We asked both the check in and check out personnel if we could get a price quote from the Crane migration next Spring. No can do.

This is definitely the nicest hotel I have stayed at in Monte Vista. The room smelled a little musty but we bought a candle and some Febreze and it did the trick. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The pool and hot tub were both open and they had coffee makers in the room which was nice. The only complaint I would have is that there was some confusion about my room being pet friendly when I arrived. I specifically called and requested a pet friendly room and paid pet fees for all days of my stay. After I checked in they let me know that the room was not pet friendly and I wasn't allowed to leave my dog unattended in the room even if the room was pet friendly. We were in town for a funeral so obviously we couldn't take him with us. They did end up letting me leave him in the room fo

This little inn pleasantly surprised my husband and I. Needed a room near Adam State University that I didn't have to give an arm and a leg for, and they delivered. It was clean, staff was accommodating and pleasant. My husband and I, alone with our son, stayed in a double room and was quite comfortable. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave, and they offer free breakfast and wifi too. We could tell updates had been made to the property as well. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting our son on campus. Thank you Sandhill Inn & Suites for making our stay awesome!
