Rock Creek Campground

If you don't mind roughing it, this is a wonderful campground. There is no water available and no garbage pick up, so you must pack your water in and take your trash out with you. County Road 28 is a nicely packed dirt road; I saw larger RVs on it. The campground sites are nicely spaced and are on Rock Creek, which supplies a delightful sound to lull you off to sleep. There are pit toilets. No campground host. A couple of hiking trails are up the road a bit. Very peaceful place.

Really great campground! The bathrooms were clean but like all pit toilets, smelly. There were A LOT of mosquitos so wear bug spray or have bug nets. My dog enjoyed the stream right next to the campsite. The roads are a little rough getting to it but nothing impassable. There is no service for Verizon at least. Definitely would recommend this campground!

Great camping spots to be found along the road to camp site. I was tired so I’m stopped by a wonderful rock formation. Very quiet. Dirt road is a bit washboardy but fine for any kind of vehicle. Weather perfect. I’m going to sleep with a stream babbling in the background.

Small. Close to town. Clean facilities. Close to town though. Busy

grate spot. kind of noisy but beautiful nonetheless. grate campsites, firepits, and tables. Restrooms. Watch out for Forest Service douchebag L. Wubben .. he straight up robbed me of my medicine and gave me a 330$ ticket for possession..wasn't smoking ..dog wasn't on a leash.that was the in to search my car...so yeah be on the lookout for that asshat. See you in court ..pretty sure when the jury sees the couple of grams you stole out of my car..they will nullify.
