We had a fantastic weekend at Seidels RV park. The trees are wonderful and provided nice shade and good wind block. Very quiet with no road noise. She has very fun animals (goats) to go pet. We even got to feed them a few left over graham crackers as treats. Highly recommend for a fun weekend adventure or longer. We hope to be back soon!
Siedel's RV Park, Pratt KS We stayed at Siedel's RV Park. First thought, was peaceful and out in the country. RV Park is about a 5 minute drive from Pratt, KS. After staying several days, I noticed that we were staying on a free roam farm in the RV park with peacocks and guineas. Peacocks would sit on vehicles. Owner has 2 little dogs that are free roam as well. Don't recommend staying here unless you want to feel like you live on a farm! Also, if you have a dog that likes to play and bark playfully, don't stay here. The owner "doesn't tolerate" barking. No laundry facility on site (one laundry facility in Pratt, KS open 24/7). No wi-fi. CASH ONLY. You are sharing the water spout with your neighbor, which you might have to stretch your hose underneath your camper depending on water hookup
7 hours from home pulling a 30' trailer we found Seidels RV park a refreshing oasis. Surrounded by trees and grass it seemed10 degrees cooler than the road. There are miniature goats, ducks, birds, and at least one peacock on the grounds. It's 9pm and it's totally quite. The owner is Rose and she's very helpful in the set up and charged us only $30. Water and power with dump available. Down side ... a few miles out of Pratt and out GPS didn't show the location.|
Rose, the owner, is a very sweet lady. She has a precious, simple, hidden treasure. It's off the beaten path, surrounded by trees; NO traffic! If you want a peaceful, simple, country getaway, complete with goats and an assortment of God's creatures, this place is for you.
Nice quiet little rv park. Rose has it fixed up so nicely!! A very friendly lady!! We'll definitely stay here again when we're traveling thru!!
