Secret Garden Miami Beach

Did a quick weekend getaway for a friend’s birthday. We picked this hotel because of the location of the beach which was the only good thing. When we first arrived the gentleman at the desk seemed friendly until he told me how there is a $25 a day fee for the hotel (which was fine) I said I didn’t know that he told me I didn’t read the fine print. Then after checking in our room we had no towels or toilet paper and the AC wasn’t working in the room. I also paid for 2 queen size beds and the beds in the room were full size and also the shower was in the middle of the room which was not shown on Expedia site for this hotel. I went back down to the front desk and Terry told me I get what I paid for and that all the hotels in the area were double in price. Not the best customer service. Then w

Where do I begin. Do not stay here unless you don’t plan to spend anytime at your room. Firstly no soap in bathroom and hand towels are the only size there is. TV is non functional even to check local events. Breakfast is non exsistant. There were 30 people boiled eggs made 6 at a time by occupant, loaf of bread dumped into a tray and no coffee or juice available. Again brutal. When we asked for towels for a shower we were handed a stack of unfolded hand towels with stains on them. Useless. I took a picture and have not received my damage deposit back cause they said we damaged the towels. Should have marched them down to the desk immediately after seeing the condition they were in. I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and cannot say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Terry and Andrea at the front desk were absolutely exceptional-genuine, down-to-earth, and incredibly welcoming. Their customer service went above and beyond and made me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was absolutely perfect. I am so grateful for the warmth, help, and hospitality I received, and it made my experience unforgettable. We booked two rooms each for 4 persons and we got 2 rooms with 1 double bed , they expected us to accommodate 8 persons in there. It took 2 hours of our precious time to come to the conclusion that they had no other rooms. We had to look for another solution on the spot. The lady was really unhelpful and rude.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy and clearly not cleaned since god knows when, aswell as the elevators. On top of that, the toilet didn’t even flush. Instead of fixing the issue or offering us a different room, they handed us a plunger like that was an acceptable solution. Because of the unsanitary conditions, we did not want to stay the night at all. We immediately called the manager and waited an Hour for him to arrive who then told us that if we left right then, we would be refunded the full amount. We did exactly that and left the property. Afterward, we called multiple times to follow up on the refund, and the manager went as far as basically calling us liars until we told him to go back and check the security cameras, which would clearly sh
