Seaside Inn

We had such a pleasant stay at Seaside Inn and I can't wait to tell you about it. From the moment we walked in Cameron greeted us and was super accommodating. A very professional enthusiastic staff member. We loved the short walk to the beach, the pool was crystal clear and refreshing, and the room was clean and spacious. We met Amber at the front desk in the evening and she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. When we checked out in the morning, Lily was super friendly and when we encountered a slight problem, she was diligent about finding the solution and even called to reassure us. We will definitely return to Seaside Inn! We love Sanibel!

Rustic hotel, truly a beach getaway. Front desk staff friendly and very helpful. No room service since we only stayed 2 nights. Slightly musty smelling in our room, but beds were comfy, clean linens, beach was outstanding for shell seeking and swimming. Small pool was perfect for an early evening dip. Planning to return during the cooler months for a longer stay to enjoy the kayaks, bikes, and maybe even grill. One of our favorite vacations!

The property is older but well maintained. I was surprised with the extras available to the guests. Bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, shuffle board, corn hole, shell cleaning station, barbecue, laundry facility, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Continental breakfast was served in the office and this was also better stocked than I expected. Coffee, water, milk, pastries, muffins, cereals, yogurt, apples sauce, mixed fruit, fresh fruit, boiled eggs and more. We stayed in a cottage. Plenty of space and a well supplied kitchen. Usually we find thrift store finds in the kitchen, but everything looked like it was never used. The toaster and coffee maker still had the safeties on the plugs. The office staff was fantastic. We stayed Fri-Sun & loved every minute of our experience. We were looking for a quiet & relaxing beach get away for our anniversary & Seaside Inn of Sanibel delivered! We didn’t take advantage of the kayak or paddle boards but having the beach chairs & umbrellas on the beach were a great addition. We stayed on a 1st floor partial Gulf view & when we come back we will opt for a 2nd floor full Gulf view. 🙂 The saltwater swimming pool was very clean & the grounds were impeccable. We also used the bikes to explore a bit of the area around us. We highly recommend this property for a maximum relaxation getaway!

We visited right before Memorial Day weekend so the entire island was quiet which was totally awesome! We paid quite a bit of money to stay for two nights mid week ($740). While the grounds to the beach and pool area were amazing, the rooms definitely need some updates. We arrived around 6pm and had to stop at their sister resort to retrieve our room keys down the street as guest services is unavailable after 6. We paid for a partial gulf room top floor room but really it’s just a deck that anyone can walk onto and their is no privacy between any of the top floor rooms. Resort fees include bikes, beach chairs, etc. Free morning breakfast is grab and go items. Staff were kind and attentive.
