Sanibel Siesta on the Beach

Although a bit older, the Siesta is right on the beach and in a great lication, island wise. You can walk to Pink Flamingo, Lighthouse Cafe, the Shack, (little over a mile), yet you feel off the beaten path. We stay here every year. Staff and Co. are very helpful and wonderful hosts.

Absolutely Lovely!! We went in early October and it was perfect. The beach was steps from the condo with plethoras of exquisite shells spread in wide swaths across the sandy shores. Sandibel Siesta's staff was remarkable!! They educated us about flying teeth and armed us with bug spray. Patrica was a Jewel and called around for live music for us, John the maintenance guru, helped a friend of ours with her car issues. Just super wonderful people. It was quiet well kept, and has a great layout! This was pur first visit and we have found a home away from home at Sandibel Island!

We always look forward to a brief respite in January from the cold temperatures in Indiana. Our destination is Sanibel Siesta on the Beach. Literally on the beach 🔥 Turn South you go to the beach, turn North to the pool. With another season post Ian the growth has returned the surroundings turning bright and green. The Units are always pristine, your own garage and a short walk to the Tiki Bar at the Sanibel Beach Resort next store. Staff are great and the new keying system is user friendly and very convenient.

Although, seems many great reviews on this place, were from one unit- Our unit was older, not updated much. But, clean. The bed's were very difficult to sleep in, husband has artificial shoulder's, and the couch was very uncomfortable. Not sure where the furniture was purchased- first, accommodating for person's with physical ailments- not the best choice. NeoSeum's- bugs, were bad too. But, we sprayed ourselves, best we could, it was rough. They were in the condo unit. |Resolve- owner could invest in a good quality recliner- omit the tiny corner upholstered chair. Ungrade the master mattress so something perhaps newer- pillowtop, and handle-bars for safety in the bathrooms. Paint and patch up the blistered ceiling. We will return but to a different more comfortable unit with pleasant sle

Relaxing. Beachfront. Middle island location. Beach, pool, bike, walk, wildlife sanctuary, reading, good restaurants nearby. Bike path easy access. Nice pool. Very nice condos. FYI... Sanibel is a laid-back quiet place, a place to chill, not a wild party place.
