Sea Lion Motel

This was a nice stay. It's in a good area and has a pool. The wifi was a bit spotty and a few towels and sheets had small stains... but nothing to serious. The service desk was also very helpful. There's no room service/daily cleaning though. But overall was good place to stay while in Gloucester.

Had a wonderful stay over Halloween weekend. Highly recommend it! Explored Salem during the day and enjoyed a meal in Gloucester at night. The room was clean and cozy. Appreciated the continental breakfast and the very friendly staff! We arrived late at night and a key was left in a mailbox for us.

Loved our stay. Bonnie the manager was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but more than enough to start your day. Great vibe. Great location. Would stay here again for sure.

Positive: Very clean! Excellent Staff. Pool was clean and well maintained. Although located off of a main street, it was very peaceful. The front desk recommended Causeway Restaurant. Go! It was excellent!! Negative: A light above the bathroom mirror would have made it much easier to apply my makeup. It was quite dim.

We've been staying here for years. Not sure what's happened, but so disappointed and a ruined trip. We always pick Rm 122, the big front room. Deck was dirty, bird poop all over chairs, 2 dirty paper cups under the table. We cleaned it ourselves. We found coffee filters in kitchen drawer with mouse poop and urine on them. Totally grossed out. Found a dirty sock (most likely prior guest) under a chair cushion. The bathroom sink was not draining and no water pressure coming out of cold water, not to mention the loud noise it was making while on. Brown water coming out hot water. The response from the manager was totally unprofessional. She told us she would get a plumber and if we were unhappy there, we could leave. It was our first day there. Little miss Bonnie has no business being in that
