Wingaersheek Inn & Motel

The room was very nice. The grounds were in good shape. I was upgraded to a larger room was wonderful, however- the bed is above waist height. There is a step stool provided, but I could have used two steps and I am 5’5”. It was also very tricky to get up into the bed with having a hip and a knee replacement on my right side. |The bed was not comfortable at all. Far too soft. |There was a sketchy van parked to the far side of parking lot. It made me feel a bit uneasy. It was there at night with the depot partially open, in the morning it was gone.

For what I needed, this place was perfect. I was in town for a wedding and this place was so much cheaper than anywhere else in Gloucester. My room was clean, including the bathroom, and when the AC was having issues, one of the owners helped me fix it very quickly. Would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Gloucester.

This is a small, family-run motel. The room was quite small, but very clean and everything we needed for a one night stay. It was very quiet and sleep came easy. The value is very good, and I have no problem recommending it.

The staff accidentally took down my reservation dates wrong, and forced me and my partner to move out after one night (of a 3 night stay which had been paid for 4 months in advance) in a very rude and unprofessional manner. No apology, no compassion, just yelling (yes, actually yelling) at us to get out. Also, SO many bugs in the rooms!!! Yuck!

The owners for certain are working very hard to bring you the best stay possible. Even in the little details like fresh flowers on the table and super soft linens. The room was cleaned daily which was such a nice supprise to us. The bed was a nicer smooshy memory foam one and not the one of those ones with crunchy springs we all dread. ...the winnagersheek beach is just beautiful and so close and so safe for littles...we would consider staying in the future
