Scottsdale Parkview Resort

A reviewer said you something about lipstick on a pig and I 100% agree with them. Check in was quick but also very low tech (which is fine). Room smelled like cheap purple floor cleaner - permeated everything from towels to linens. Tried to air out the room but the neighbor next door was smoking outside so yeah - bonus. The toilet didn’t flush right and the faucet and shower were so awful you had to turn it past “off” to get it to shut off. The repair guy came quick, but he just bent stuff to make a quick fix for the night. Not sure he really knew what he was doing. I also had to wipe the walls down with a towel because there was a mystery brown stain all up and down the wall near the mirror and the floor. Whatever you do, listen to the poor reviews. I will say, overall our stay could have been worse for sure. However, note that the photos you are viewing are many years old. They do not show you the photos that guests are uploading with the reviews being left, so in my opinion this is extremely deceptive. Were we able to see recent guest photos there is NO chance we would have stayed here. I am still in awe that they are charging $230+/night; we have stayed in motels for less than $100/might that were much, MUCH nicer. There are probably 8 pool loungers/chairs that are not broken. The pool, when we stayed March 6-7, was cloudy, the hot tub jets did not work. The rooms are very small - all rooms are accessible from the outside only (think outlet mall), so you will be able to hear EVERYTHING

This place is nowhere close to a a 3.5. At best an 1.5 and that’s pushing it. It’s old and run down. Pictures are from when it first opened cause it looks nothing like that now. As soon as you pull up you will regret booking there. Outside is not kept up. Room are dark and old. Furniture is absolutely nasty. Bed sheets were itchy. There were stains on the headboard of the bed. The a/c is 1 foot away from the bed so the air is blowing right in your face. Do not stay here it’s disgusting. Spend the extra money and have a great stay elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay at Scottsdale Parkview Resort. From check-in, the staff, Mr. Eddy, made me feel welcome and were very helpful throughout my stay. My rooms (160,156) was clean, comfortable which made stay really peaceful. I also spent some time relaxing by the pool, which was well kept and a nice way to unwind after a long day. The location was perfect—close to restaurants and things to do but still quiet at night. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Scottsdale!

NEVER AGAIN!!... Where do I start.. Got there, trash in parking lot, toilet didn't work (had to manually turn off and on water near floor or lift up lid and mess with float), one morning had ZERO hot water, twice I went to get ice on different nights, machine was out (staff said basically too bad) and remote on TV didn't work correctly, room was dated.. MOTEL 6 would have been better option.
