Scottish Inns & Suites Kemah, TX

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was by far the worst experience ever. The ROOM SMELLS awful — a mix of dampness and chemicals — and there’s visible MOLD on the walls and ceilings. I even saw roaches inside the room. Outside, there were rats running around. The hygiene is terrible. The owner DANNY is RUDE, and clearly doesn’t know how to treat customers. What’s worse, his wife constantly stares at guests and makes people uncomfortable. They both need to learn how to behave and show some basic respect to paying customers. On top of all that, the hotel is OVER PRICEY. The so-called “Jacuzzi rooms” cost $300–$400, but they’re dirty, old, and definitely not worth it. If you value cleanliness, respect, or even basic comfort, avoid this place at all costs.

Positive: Location Negative: The bathroom door would not close.

Booked a two queen bed room through my credit card and when we got there they wanted to charge us extra money for our ten year old daughter being with us because we didn’t select that there would be three people in the room. We should have just stayed at the courtyard next door

Good location for Kemah Amusement park. 5 minutes to work there for save $15 parking lot fee. Inn is decent just what you will get for what you paid for. No complain from me.
